EcoAdapt supports the transformation of livestock systems by strengthening the entire value chain—from production and processing to marketing and trade. This includes support for veterinary services, market infrastructure development, cold chain systems, livestock cooperatives, and training on animal health and husbandry. Working with county governments, producers, and private sector actors, EcoAdapt helps pastoralist and agro-pastoral communities improve income, food security, and resilience to climate-related shocks. These value chain interventions also aim to connect remote producers with regional and export markets, while promoting equitable participation and economic inclusion
